CONSERVATION AT SEA LIFE

Here at SEA LIFE Minnesota, we care deeply about our oceans and its creatures

Under our ethos BREED, RESCUE, PROTECT, we have established breeding programs to better understand species from Undulate Rays, to Lined Seahorses, to Coral Propagation. We help our guests make informed decisions about sustainable seafood choices and the issues surrounding the overfishing.

Our registered charity, The SEA LIFE Trust, was created in 2013 to support projects and campaigns that make a measurable difference in the protection of marine wildlife and habitats.

We also work with a number of global conservation partners, including marine specialists like Bite-Back Shark and Marine Conservation, The Big Fish Campaign, and Seafood Watch

We run breeding programs for creatures as diverse as rays, jellies, and seahorses. In fact, we're part of the largest seahorse breeding network in the world!

SEA LIFE Aquariums around the world rescue and release injured and sick creatures including seals, turtles and porpoises.

Through our global charity, SEA LIFE Trust, we campaign for worldwide protection of marine environments & creatures.
