Clownsfish

Clownfish are beautiful little fish. They don’t like to stray too far from their home base – usually a sea anemone. They are also able to change sex, which the dominant male would normally do when (if) the female dies.

The napoleon wrasse can instantly be recognized by its size, colour and shape. It is one of the largest reef fishes in the world. They can grow up to 230 cm and weigh 190 kg.

Seahorses

Did you know Male Seahorses give birth to their young? The female lays her eggs in his pouch and they stay there until they hatch. Venture into the Kingdom of the Seahorse and encounter a variety of tropical Seahorses while learning amazing facts about these tiny creatures.

To swim, seahorses beat their dorsal fin 30-70 times a second!

Otters Max & Skittle

The Asian Short Clawed Otter might be the smallest otter in the world and it might have shorter claws than other otters but don’t think that’s going to hold it back. It’s a great swimmer and has some unusual characteristics for an otter.

Asian Short Clawed Otters are the only otters that catch their prey in the claws, which they are able to do because of their unique, partially webbed feet. It makes them much more dextrous than other species of otter and very successful as hunters. Meet our otters Max and Skittle.

Rays

Rays are a type of flattened fish and are closely related to sharks. Rays are a result of the evolutional cycle of sharks. Rays are social animals that live all over the world in oceans, and even are found in some channels where fresh water flows into the ocean. Rays often come together in huge groups of up to thousands of individuals, but other rays live alone.

Rays have existed for more than 350 millions years.

Breed Rescue Protect
